Brian provided counsel to a client involved in two large national product recalls. Rather than subject the client to thousands of lawsuits, Brian was able to negotiate dismissals and/or agreements with various plaintiffs’ at the early stages of the claim. This allowed the client to fairly resolve a large number of claims without the burdens and costs associated with multiple lawsuits throughout the country. Importantly, a large majority of the claims were resolved without the client incurring the costs or time commitment normally associated with formal litigation. Although this model was first utilized in response to a large number of claims, Brian has been able to apply it to various other situations at tremendous savings to his clients. It is a testament to Brian’s desire to understand why a client is in a dispute and continually developing cost effective ways to get through the dispute.
