John A. Andreasen
John’s practice focuses on all aspects of environmental law. He primarily advises the firm’s clients on environmental matters, including compliance with state and federal environmental laws. He has represented clients before state and federal regulatory authorities and in state and federal courts across the country with respect to Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act and CERCLA issues.
John has also represented clients on numerous PRP groups and committees, in connection with Superfund Sites, regarding contribution claims, allocation and joint defense issues.
In addition to his environmental litigation, John represents the firm’s clients in business acquisitions and divestitures with respect to environmental due diligence matters, including Phase I and Phase II investigations, permits, licenses and site remediation projects.
John also has over 20 years experience in commercial litigation in both state and federal courts across the country.
John was in private practice before joining McGrath North in 1989 and became a shareholder in the firm in 1993.
