Michael T. Eversden
Mike’s practice includes commercial litigation, with an emphasis in bankruptcy and creditors rights. He and the other members of the Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy Group have advised creditors in bankruptcies throughout the United States, have represented large debtors, and have defended large avoidance actions. Mike has also argued before the Eighth Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel.
In addition to his bankruptcy practice, Mike is also involved in various types of commercial litigation, including contract and lease disputes, priority contests under the Uniform Commercial Code, subrogation disputes, replevin actions, and appeals to the Nebraska appellate courts.
Mike also has experience with matters concerning the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Mike joined Mcgrath North in 2001 and became a shareholder in the firm in 2004.
