J. Scott Paul
Scott has practiced nationwide with extensive litigation experience in Nebraska, Iowa, Alabama, Mississippi, Illinois and Oklahoma.
Scott's practice is primarily defense oriented, concentrating on nationwide defense of class actions, commercial litigation and insurance coverage litigation. Specialty areas of practice on a local and regional level include medical malpractice defense, the representation of both owners and contractors in construction contract disputes, and representation of employers in covenant not to compete cases.
Scott also specializes in ethics and professional responsibility law. Scott is a frequent speaker on ethics at various seminars and conferences.
Scott has been a shareholder in the firm since 1990. The law firm at which he previously practiced merged with McGrath North in 1988. He has over twenty seven years of litigation experience.
