Entity Formation   McGrath North advises entrepreneurs on the tax and corporate considerations in deciding whether to operate as a sole proprietorship, general partnership, limited liability company or corporation and prepares the advisable organizational and governance documents.

Business Operations   McGrath North works with business owners, from family-owned operations to multi-national corporations, in their day-to-day transactions, including the negotiation and drafting of agreements and the compliance with governmental regulations.

Corporate Governance   The firm has broad experience in counseling the board of directors of private and public companies on corporate governance matters, including corporate compliance programs, codes of conduct and responsibilities of directors and officers. We also assist clients in conducting internal corporate investigations.

Relationships Among Owners   McGrath North works with business owners in structuring tax-effective buy-sell agreements; counsels clients with respect to recapitalizations, reorganizations and redemptions to change corporate ownership; and provides business succession planning.
