"McGrath North to host CLE program that addresses ‘Who Gets What' in high profile victim funds"

McGrath North is excited to be hosting a unique CLE program that addresses the ethical and legal issues that arise in high profile victim funds.

Renowned lawyer and author Kenneth Feinberg, who was recently appointed to design and administer The One Fund Boston to aid victims of the Boston Marathon bombings, will speak at McGrath North’s Speaker Series on May 9 in Omaha, NE

Feinberg served as special master for numerous high-profile matters including the Sept. 11 Victim Compensation Fund of 2001, Agent Orange, BP Gulf Oil Spill and Penn State.

His presentation titled “Unconventional Responses to Unique Catastrophes: Tailoring the Law to Meet the Challenges” addresses the practical and philosophical problems of using money as a way to address wrongs and reflect individual worth.

Mr. Feinberg will discuss the ethics of putting a “price tag” on a human life, how he approaches his work and his career experience. and insights for resolving high-profile disputes as the keynote speaker at the McGrath North CLE Speaker Series May 9th  at the Omaha Country Club,6900 Country Club Road, Omaha, NE., from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m.
