Parent company abandons client

Bob Bothe

A telecommunications client came to Bob Bothe when their parent company had, in effect, abandoned the client to its creditors. The client’s lenders had frozen its line of credit, leaving them with almost no options. Bob and his team advised the client to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, a strategy that best served the business concerns of the client. With the client’s full buy-in and commitment, Bob was able to put a plan into action reorganizing over $400 million in debt in just eight months.

The course of action preserved 300 jobs for an Omaha-based company, and led to the successful sale to an international company eight years after the reorganization.
“Solid strategy and client commitment leads to success.“
