If you ask Katherine (Kate), she values hard work, precision, and reasoned strategy in her practice.

Since 2009, Kate has proven to be a strong advocate and dedicated attorney. With extensive experience in complex litigation in both federal and state courts across Nebraska, Iowa, and elsewhere, she has a proven track record of success in a variety of areas, including commercial disputes, government & regulatory matters, white collar defense & investigations (civil and criminal), and environmental and real estate law.

From her first job serving as an Assistant District Attorney in New York, to working on the federal level as an Assistant United States Attorney, and transitioning into private practice, Kate has a wide range of experience – both inside and outside the courtroom – handling high pressure matters.


Kate is known for her unwavering commitment to clients, putting their interests first, and approaches each matter with a keen attention to detail and a strategic mindset.

As a former federal prosecutor, Kate brings a unique perspective which enables her to effectively advise clients who may be subjects of investigations conducted by state, federal, or administrative agencies. This has included federal agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Office of Inspector General, and state agencies such as the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, the Nebraska Public Service Commission, and the Nebraska Power Review Board. Kate also has experience with cases involving the federal false claims act, wire and mail fraud, Medicare/Medicaid fraud, mortgage and bank fraud, and conspiracy.

Kate not only handles litigation and dispute resolution matters, she offers in-house counsel services to small to midsized businesses. She works closely with clients to help them make practical business decisions that may ultimately help avoid litigation down the road.

With a passion for ensuring her clients receive the best possible representation, Kate is committed to assisting her clients navigate legal matters with confidence and peace of mind.
