Attorney
As a member of McGrath North’s Business & Corporate Group, Allee specializes in mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, entity formation and structuring, and corporate governance. She partners with clients to provide practical, goal-oriented legal solutions that support business growth and success across a variety of industries and at all stages of the business lifecycle.

Allee takes a collaborative, business-focused approach to legal counsel, working closely with clients to understand their operations, goals, and challenges. Her priority is to build strong, long-term partnerships with each client and to craft legal strategies that are practical and aligned with their objectives. Whether advising on a strategic acquisition, negotiating commercial contracts, or helping a new business launch and grow, Allee provides solutions that support success without creating unnecessary legal barriers.

Allee earned her Juris Doctor from the Creighton University School of Law and received her bachelor of arts degree in political science and spanish from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

IEEPA Tariff Refund

In the recent Learning Resources, Inc. case, the United States Supreme Court held that various International Emergency Economic Powers Act (“IEEPA”) tariffs were unlawful, but the Court’s ruling did not address the issue of refunds. A dissenting opinion predicted that any refund process would be a “mess.” Since the Supreme Court’s decision, the administration has indicated that it intends to fight vigorously against any refunds. Given that context, this alert summarizes basic options for importers of record who wish to seek refunds.
