Through Lecia's extensive experience, she has become known for her professionalism, preparation, knowledge of the law, knowledge of the rules of evidence, written work product, and oral advocacy/trial and in-court case presentation—as well as her ability to treat everyone with kindness and respect.
A daughter of an Air Force Veteran, Lecia holds a unique perspective on the world having lived near U.S. military bases both domestically and abroad. Before joining McGrath North, Lecia spent 11 years as a Supervisory Assistant United States Attorney for the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Nebraska. She also serves the United States Air Force Judge Advocate Generals Corps as an Assistant Staff Judge Advocate.
Lecia holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from the Creighton University School of Law and graduated magna cum laude from Creighton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology. Lecia also currently is an adjunct professor at Creighton School of Law teaching legal research and writing courses.
