With the explosion of the internet and all of the information you can find by simply typing a phrase into a search bar, companies and individuals are finding it harder and harder to keep hold of their protected information. A simple search can provide relevant links, images, videos and more. There is also the increase in popularity of sites like YouTube, Facebook and Pinterest that make it easy for users to upload and share information. We all know that once information is on the internet, it’s nearly impossible to get it back or remove it. So, how do people and companies go about protecting their intellectual property and what rights do individuals have to the information? This session will discuss these questions and more as we navigate through internet IP considerations.
