IP Basics for Non-IP Practitioners

Last week, McGrath North’s Intellectual Property group hosted a CLE seminar titled “Intellectual Property Basics for Non-IP Practitioners" in Sioux City, IA. This educational event helped attendees gain a comprehensive understanding of IP rights.

Presentations by Luke Holst, Clint Cadwallader, and Jeanne Kelley addressed patent, trademark, trade secret, and copyright laws, along with practical strategies for protecting intellectual property. A presentation by Micah Carlson addressed key issues surrounding state, federal and international data privacy laws.
