Before joining McGrath North, Lecia spent 11 years as a Supervisory Assistant United States Attorney for the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Nebraska. She also serves the United States Air Force Judge Advocate Generals Corps as an Assistant Staff Judge Advocate.

Lecia holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from the Creighton University School of Law and graduated magna cum laude from Creighton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology. Lecia also currently is an adjunct professor at Creighton School of Law teaching legal research and writing courses.
